Prohibition is back in the form of Charlotte’s newest bar scene. When you step inside Prohibition, you’ll step back in time. Our bar is constructed from reclaimed wood and tin from local North Carolina barns. The walls of the nostalgic watering hole are plastered with old quotes dating back to the Prohibition era.

No bathtub gin on the menu, but we do offer Moonshine! You can also sip on one of our eight beers on tap, or play bartender at one of our Draft Master tables. Each features a pair of beers on tap, so you can pour for your friends all night. Reserve your Draft Master table for parties of four or more. If you’re part of a bigger crowd, we’ve got plenty of room to accommodate you along our expansive bar, spanning 50 feet.

We’ll show you a good time no matter what day of the week you join us at Prohibition, with entertainment from local and regional bands, and live DJs. Our second floor 1,000 sq. ft. patio overlooking the bustling intersection of 5th and Tryon Streets is the perfect place to enjoy a frosty beer or a cool cocktail poured by some of Charlotte’s finest bartenders.
