BackMickey and Mooch

Creamy walls and floor-to-ceiling windows are accented by dark woods and dim lighting. Cushioned booths hug the exterior walls and half-walls, giving diners privacy even amid the crowds. Servers are friendly and well-trained, and a pianist makes beautiful music in the piano bar Tuesday through Friday nights. Packed with good-looking folks, some couples but mostly groups.

The Food

Steaks and chops are the stars of the menu, but favorites such as crab cakes, barbecue ribs, risotto, pasta and baby lobster tail also are tempting. If you're a lobster fan or a Maine ex-pat, don't miss the lobster martini: a large amount of sweet, warm tails for an appetizer price. The filet and mushroom ravioli are rich and flavorful, and the shrimp and grits will win over even a reluctant connoisseur of low-country fare. Overall a great time.
