Charlotte North Carolina Fashion Week (CNCFW) will return to the Queen City September 23-25, 2010 with a new venue, cutting-edge theme, and all new roster of local, national, and international designers. PLITZS Fashion Marketing, producers of the citys premier three-day fashion event, is set to host its third annual event at Bank of America Urban Garden (1 Bank of America Center) and Founders Hall, located at 100 N. Tryon St. in the heart of Uptown Charlotte.

The fifth outing of the semi-annual "Queen's Feast" Charlotte Restaurant Week® will run ten days from Friday, July 16, through Sunday, July 25. This summer's promotion features 88 participating restaurants [see full list below]; the event website at www.CharlotteRestaurantWeek.com lists the restaurants' special Queen's Feast menus, as well as transportation and uptown parking information.

The fifth annual Charleston Cinco de Mayo Festival will take place on Saturday, May 1st, at the Visitors Center Bus Terminal in downtown Charleston from 7p.m. to 11p.m. The celebration will feature Orquesta Mayor, DJ Luigi Bravo of Latin Groove, (R)evolution:Genesis, Latin Groove Kids, Professional Salsa Dance Performances and a Salsa Dance Competition. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit Roper Saint Francis.
Tickets: $8 online, $10 at the door with Kids 12 and under get in FREE. Food and drink are sold separately. Cash only. http://www.charlestoncinco.com
